The Epic of Mahabharatham- Thanks for bringing back

Many serials came in and still coming on Indian television.But there was only one series which kept coming for every decade in different versions.The latest edition of  "Mahabharatham" has become an stupendous , colossal and undisputed winner of all the previous edition.When my hindi speaking friends were posting about Mahabharatam , all I remember was 1997 edition when I was 7 year old watching it with my great Grandmother.I didn't understand anything.All I felt was that it is some supernatural serial with magic and giant people fighting relentlessly every time I turned on the Television.That bad opinion on the serial made be restrain from watching the latest edition.In fact I purposely changed the Channel when my mother was watching it.She scolded me.She made no food for me.I got irritated.We used to fight because of Mahabaratham. But now I am watching it with her.Enjoying the series to the full.What made me change? The one episode where Karnan and Kunthi meet.Kunthi was returning to Hastinapuram with her Five sons, after the death of her husband Pandu.Glad I watched this particular scene.Epical love personified.Karnan was Kunthi's first son who was  born  before her marriage with Pandu.Kunthi had been granted a blessing by sage Durvasa to be able to conjure any God to give her a child who posses the greatest powers.That is how her other 5 sons were also born.She always had her in mind the face of the beautiful child, Karnan whom she left in a basket and set him afloat on the banks of  Ganges. She cried and longed to see him one day.

And that is how I started  watching Mahabhartham telecasted in Vijay TV. I came to know that I missed 30 episodes, so I made sure I don't miss any episode and I finished previous episodes in 2 days.Now I really love this series.The fact that it is not only entertaining and has its twists and turns, it also has the best portrayal of the Characters.The very first episode , the introduction of Bishmar was so inspiring that I  have become an instant fan of  Arav Choudhary . He is astonishing and doing full justice to the role of Bishmar, the only person who witness entire Mahbharatham and seen till the very end of Gurushethra war.

Another plus to this series is the crisp screenplay , choice of characters and enlivening,  inspiring message of  Lord Krishna to the present stupid world.He says,what is said in Bhagvad Geetha.Sure to inspire you and you start to think what you are doing now.What the world has done to you.What you have got to give the world in return This is how he starts( Click here to hear Krishna's Upadesam)The BGM is another thing  that will make you watch the episodes quite often. I am cocksure that when you start watching this greatest epic of Mahabharatham  never ever will you regret.I feel it has arrived at the the right time considering the present situation of our country.Arrogance, poverty, corruption,money minded politicians, pathless citizens ridden country.Thanks to the makers of this edition of Mahabharatham.Thanks a alot....
