Thalaiva- Everything started with one letter which was sent to a theatre in Chennai.It was purely against SRM owner and his alleged possession of black money.Earlier there was a feud between Vijay and SRM owner over "Pooriventhan" controversy (From Nanban movie). According to the letter the person was a victim of SRM owner. HE/SHE/THEY thougth Vijay bowed down to SRM owner for his money and they patched up everything between them and the person/persons in the letter quoted Vijay must also have some black money otherwise why would he team up with SRM owner and hence the person threatened that there will be Bomb blasts if the movie releases.
Now clearly thalaiva issue is between some group of people and black money holders.Its not religious issue.It not a sensitive one.No publlic money was wasted.So the people didnt care about this issue .
Why would "AMMA" involve herself in this issue indirectly. For simple reason, Vijay father's word that angered AMMA. Calling him as ANNA and Vijay as MGR. That too much to take in.Too much ....Vijay's father as ANNA is unimaginable.Even though it is a political issue, it is out of scope for the public to get involved.The issue is not religiously motivated....It will not create any damage to public.This is as a result of stupidity , greedy , inability to judge what one is worth for.
Now why would public support Thailava release. Is this movie portraying any truth from real life as portrayed by Viswaroopam (Since u people compared )...Does this movie holds an hard hitting subject of terrorism as in Viswaroopam.
What public need to do.Do not download the movie from thru torrents or buy pirated copies. This is what a public can do in this issue.They cannot come to road to fight for the release of this movie.Everyone has their own problem.The public's midnight is stolen by Congress government by rising Fuel prices for god sake only in Midnight all these 9 years
